Details Which Will Help
We suggest you talk to our staff before spending too much time preparing. They may be able to reduce time, identify anomalies, confirm details required for your carnet.
In general, we will need:
- Your travel itinerary, countries you will pass through, as well as the destination.
- The purpose of your trip and of the related goods, e.g. exhibitions, professional use.
- A full list of goods & equipment, including model and serial numbers, plus their value.
- The names of individuals who will use the documents and dates they will be required.
If there is uncertainty on points above, please discuss this and we can hold completion. The list of goods is a fair example, once the ATA Carnet is issued, you can not add more.
What We Will Provide
Your ATA Carnet naturally, quite possibly a Carnet Guarantee Bond to avoid the need to lodge funds, which our team will help to arrange.
We supply a printed booklet, explaining the use of your colour coded ATA Carnet at each stage of the journey. An interactive verion of our carnet guide is available online, along with a pdf version of the booklet.
Costs will be discussed with you at each stage and savings identified where possible. We can have a carnet with you in a few hours, or ready for the weeks ahead, part of a service which is not time restricted.
Ongoing Support
Most carnet use goes smoothly, although the unexpected can crop up. You may need to go beyond the normal 12 month limit, your carnet has been lost, or a few items which were listed are missing.
